The Ponderosa High School Band Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that supports all Ponderosa High School band programs, including marching band, jazz band, concert band, and symphonic band. The Boosters support the band director and the 100+ students who participate in one or more of these programs each year.

The award-winning Bruin Bands perform throughout the year, traveling to competitions and representing Ponderosa High School throughout the region. Students also give back to the community by participating in local events such as the Placerville Christmas Parade, Cameron Park’s Props, Cops & Rodders, and performances of the National Anthem at community venues and services.

The Ponderosa Band Program is funded in part by student family contributions and student fundraising initiatives, but even with this support, there is still a significant gap to close.

The Ponderosa Band Boosters need to raise over $50,000 to help fund the purchase of music, new instruments, instructors, scholarships, transportation, uniforms, competition fees, and more.
